Teen and Distracting Driving

One in three (34%) texting teens ages 16-17 say they have texted while driving. That translates into 26% of all American teens ages 16-17.
Because of my own life and what i've seen from most of my friends I'm surprise to see the number for teen texting to be 34% in the study, translating into 26% overall. I would think that it would be inching toward 50%.
The 52% that talks and drive is about what I thought it would be if not a little bit higher.

Decline in U.S. album sales over time

Declining of the album sales due to file sharing software such as Napster, early on, now others who has followed that path. Personally I feel that file-sharing is a way for the consumer to have somewhat control, to go out and buy a CD and it only have maybe two good songs is giving money away. Now artists have to prove to their fans that their CD are worth buying, are worthing investing in.

On his visit to American International College Alan Khazei, who is running for the late Ted Kennedy's senate seat, unveil his health care plan. His health care plan consist of a strong public option that would create competition with the private insurers. also a exchange networks for small businesses. Running on a platform similar to Kennedy's, on social issues that need to be reprimanded so they can better serve the people. His plan is base on morality and not politics, and that may be the reason for failure, sadly enough.

Fewer Americans See Solid Evidence of Global Warming

Fewer Americans See Solid Evidence of Global Warming

Its an issue of choosing what to believe and what not to believe despite the facts. Some may see that believing it would lead to too much work to fix it, too much money. So, they feel by continuously denying it, it will either go away or become someone else's problem. That is the irresponsible way of dealing with a problem that should be more in Americans, and the world at large, faces. The facts are there, reality shows her face more and more every year with the ice caps melting, and temperatures rising steadily every year.

Obama surprising announcement as the Winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize has a lot of people talking. U.S Republican Party Chairman Michael Steel says he won the prize with "star power" not for meaningful accomplishments.
The Nobel Committe Chairman Thorbjoern Jagland says that its not prematurely or too early, that now is our opportunity to respond. Meaning our time to act and too change, President Obama has become the face of change. People are inpatient and want result now, though it took 8 to 10 years to get here.
What I believe has happen is the Nobel Committee has given President Obama a larger platform to spread his ideas and leadership.
